El Arroyo Hand & Body Scrub

"Never sticky, drying, or synthetic. Each jar is beautiful to look at, and if you keep it in the kitchen, you'll use it again and again."

Invigorating, smoothing, shower scrub.

Description

Inspired by the look and smell of the Sonoran Desert, El Arroyo Hand, and Body Scrub is made with layers of sugars, salts, and shrubs to mimic the desert outside of Tucson, Arizona, and exfoliate, soften, and moisturize rough skin in one step.

Unlike some scrubs which can be drying, or feel sticky, this one requires no preservatives and leaves hands feeling freshly moisturized.

Designed for your whole body in the shower, or for your hands at the sink, these hand-poured layers of Fair-Trade certified, raw cane sugar; Himalayan sea salts, and chaparral (greasewood) leaves, interact with water, steam, and mist to release their natural fragrance as they mix with negative ions, recreating the scent of the desert after a monsoon.

How to use: Dip a wet hand in the jar. Exfoliate your hands in the kitchen after chopping onion, or your polish your whole body in the shower.

Why Oracle Jayne Station

Named after the street in Tucson, Arizona where my father grew up, the ranch on Oracle Jaynes Station Road is where I got to spend part of my summer vacations. Fragrances have always been marketed based on memories, emotions, and experiences. Rarely do they actually have anything to do with either. Usually, what’s inside the bottle, contains very little from the natural world. Oracle Jayne Station challenges all that.

Everything I make is about genuine moments in my life, and an authentic heritage. My first drafts of Oracle Jayne Station fragrances were created for friends in 2014. The signature scent, El Arroyo, is inspired by the smell of the desert after it rains, and the sight of the creek running behind my grandparents’ ranch.
